June Holiday
With a week to myself at the start of June, I climbed 7 Munros, cycled and explored all sorts of places!
Glasgow & Clyde Coast - 6th June
Today I went down to Glasgow to see my friend Iain, and we toured
Glasgow and the Clyde Coast.
Sgurr Alasdair - 4th June
Today I went back to Skye, with David, my counterpart from Kinlochleven. We climbed the near impossible Great Stone Chute and made it to the top of
Sgurr Alasdair.
Glen Etive - 3rd June
I had vaguely planned on going to Fife today, but after a very long day yesterday and an early start tomorrow, I decided to have an easy time of it and climbed two
Munros in Glen Etive instead. It only took 7 hours.
Crinan Canal 2nd June
Today I cycled the
Crinan Canal, visited
Tarbert (Loch Fyne),
Lochgilphead and then went back to
Crinan to see the sunset.
Loch Tay Munros - 1st June
At Dan's (my cousins son, see above) repeated reccomendation, I climbed
Meall nan Tarmachan, and then
some others too.
Loch Quoich Munros - 29th May
By some good fortune, I managed to wangle some time off (doing the rota myself had nothing to do with anything), when my cousin James and his son Dan were on a flying visit to Scotland, and as you will see we
climbed a couple of Munros!
